So...here is my life quest: To find a sub shop in southern Maine that can make a proper Cheese Steak sub. For those out there that need a visual: here is the model steak sub. Note the cheese is infused with the steak.  This piece of art comes from Super Subs in Beverly MA. They know how to do it right down to the hot peppers (HOTS as they call them). The cook is a big guy with a mutton chop but boy does he know how to serve beef. Now to my newest annoyance. The Rock and Roll Diner in Scarborough ME. It just opened up. Blah Blah Blah. The seats look cool, but the food sucks. Here's how NOT to make a cheese steak. Note the YELLOW (yuck) American cheese on TOP of the steak. Also note the soft roll. This is bad because the steak drips and gets the roll all soggy. But hey at least I got to see Elvis picture on the wall! Anyway...If anyone knows of a way to get the dudes from Supah Subs up here let me know.
